Memorial: Sister Rose Bowers Glover

Sister Rose Bowers Glover was born September 3, 1908 to the late George Bowers and Jane Hanspard Bowers. She joined Plum Hill Baptist Church during her youthful age. Later she united with Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and rendered faithful service. She served diligently as an usher in all capacities.

She departed this life February 5, 1971 at E.A. Conway Memorial Hospital, Monroe, Louisiana.

Her survivors include: a husband, Hayward Glover Sr., Calhoun, Louisiana; three daughters, Madames Allie Mae Roberson, Calhoun, Louisiana; Ruby Cyrus Chisley and Mary Lou Cyrus, West Monroe, Louisiana; seven sons, James Edmond, Choudrant, Louisiana; Andrew and John Edward, Calhoun, Louisiana; Joseph and Hayward, Jr. Dallas, Texas; and Cleve Glover, West Monroe, Louisiana; Robert Wayne Glover, West Monroe, Louisiana; four sisters, Madames Magnolia Wright, Homestead, Pennsylvania; Josephine Caston, Monroe, Louisiana; five brothers Robert, O.C. and Ura, West Monroe, Louisiana; Manual, Oakland, California; and Otis Bower, Houston, Texas; one step-brother, Albert Corprue, Calhoun, Louisiana; two aunts, one uncle, twenty-eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and many relatives and friends.
