Mr. Victor Jackson was born December 14, 1892 in Ouachita Parish. He attended school in the Mineral Spring Community under the late Professor R. H. Myles as being his first teacher. He joined the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church at an early age and served as a faithful member to the church and choir and other departments of the church until he was called to his heavenly home January 26, 1960, at 12:07 AM.
He was a devoted son and father in his home and every one in the community knew his likeness and much time was spent in those hobbies.
He leaves to mourn a devoted mother, wife and two daughters, Mistresses Lillie P. and Cora Mae Jackson; two grandson, Carl K. and James C. Jackson of West Monroe, Louisiana and a host of relatives and friends.
