Memorial: Sister Lillie P. Jackson

Service Wednesday, August 20, 1975

The late Sister Lillie P. Jackson was the oldest daughter born to the late Victor Jackson and Ardella Jackson. She was reared and spent her life here in the Mt. Pleasant Community. She joined the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church at an early age and served faithful until death. She was very active in the Mt. Pleasant Choir and the Union Singing Convention. Music in the church was her favorite area of work.

She departed this life August 16, 1975 at the Glenwood Hospital after a brief illness.

She leaves to morn her passing: Mother Sister Ardella Jackson, West Monroe, Louisiana; one sister; Sister Cora Mae Jackson, West Monroe, Louisiana; two sons; Earl K. Jackson, Sr. and James C. Jackson, Monroe, Louisiana; seven grand-children; three great-grand-children and a host of relatives and friends.
