The hour glass, with its' sands of time, has slowly but surely spilled its' contents, and with the passing of the last sand went the life of Sister Juanita Jones (Guines) who God saw fit to call home on July 27, 1963 at 7:00 AM.
On March 10, 1928, a daughter was born to Mrs. Helen Cole, this daughter who was named Juanita lived in Ouachita Parish all her life. At an early age she confessed Christ and joined Mt. Pleasant Church of God in Christ and remained a faithful member of the church until death came Saturday, July 27, 1963 at 7:00 AM in the Charity Hospital of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Sister Jones (Guines) leaves to morn a lovely daughter, Gloria Ann Jones (Guines); a mother, Mrs. Helen Cole, one sister; Mrs. Helen Faye Powell; one brother, Mr. Johnny Y. Cole; a grandmother, Mrs. Clara Jackson, 5 aunts, 2 uncles and a host of relatives and friends.
