Memorial: Brother Peter Miles

On August 25, 1910 the home of the late Jim and Lizzie Miles was a happy home of joy on the arrival of a baby boy Peter, who was born in Ouachita Parish at Port Union.

He united in wedlock June 10, 1935 to the late Lizzie Hall, who preceded him in death. They were blessed with one daughter.

He departed this life October 28, 1973 in Greenwell Spring Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at 11:45 P.M.

His survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Carrie Mae Cole, West Monroe, Louisiana, Miss Octavia Miles, Oakland, California; one son; Mr. Robert Miles, Monroe, Louisiana; one son; Mr. Robert Miles, Monroe, Louisiana; five sisters; Mesdames Octavia Henderson, Calhoun, Louisiana, Virginia Bowers, West Monroe, Louisiana, Mary Jane Caleb, Oakland, California, Ella Wee Austine, Los Angeles, California, and Libean Camier, Flagstaff, Arizona; three brothers; Mr. Leon Miles, Los Angeles, California, Mr. J.B. Miles, Chicago, Illinois, and Mr. Jimmy Miles, Monroe, Louisiana; six grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
