Memorial: Sister Ardella Jackson

Sister Ardella Jackson was born December 16, 1895. She was the daughter of the late Fannie and Everett Jackson.

She died Tuesday, May 23, 1978 at 7:30 p.m. at her residence.

She joined the Church at an early age and was a faithful member as long as her health allowed.

Sister Ardella was a lovable character, a person everyone admired and chose as a friend. She was willing to be a friend to all, but above all she was a true Christian.

Her survivors who mourn her passing include: one daughter, Mrs. Cora Mae Jackson, West Monroe, Louisiana; two grandson, Earl K. Jackson and James C. Jackson, Monroe, Louisiana; six sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Woodard, Monroe, Louisiana, Mrs. Amanda Griffin, Shreveport, Louisiana, Mrs. Lydia Cokus, Los Angeles, California, Mrs. Easter Ingraham, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Miss Mether Jackson and Mrs. Zula Holliday, Yankton, South Dakota; eight great-grand-children; one aunt; one uncle; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
