Memorial: Brother Wade Glover

Service held Sunday, May 1, 1977

Brother Wade Glover was born to the union of the late John Glover and Mary Ramson Johnson, January 26, 1898, and lived in the Mineral Springs Community until his death.

He joined the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church at an early age, and attended service as long as he was able.

He departed this life April 22, 1977, at 11:00 PM at E.A. Conway, Monroe, Louisiana.

He leaves to mourn his passing: a devoted wife, Tinnie Roach Glover, Calhoun, Louisiana; six children, two sons and four daughters, Johnny Glover, Lecy Glover Gray, Lillian G. Walter, Charlie Glover, all of Oakland, California, Dorothy McConell, Ruston, Louisiana and Shirley Glover Johnson, Calhoun, Louisiana; four sisters, Mrs. Fannie Speed, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Mrs. Rosie Lee Rehener of Kilgore, Texas, Mrs. Josia Glover and Francis Tillman, Tella, Arkansas; two brothers, Hayward Glover, West Monroe, Louisiana and Willie Glover, Lake Village, Arkansas; thirty-four grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Goldman Elmore, Choudrant, Louisiana and Eddie Elmore, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
