Memorial: Brother Oscar Green

Service held Sunday, September 19, 1976

Brother Oscar was the son of the late Mary Green, born August 8, 1888. He was reared by his grandmother, the late Mimmie Green.

He departed this life Wednesday, September 15, 1976 about 1:30 AM ath the home of his foster son after a brief illness.

He married the late Minnie Foster and was blessed with three children.

He was the oldest member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

He is survived by: one daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Jones, West Monroe, Louisiana; three sons, Mr. Dotson Green, Oakland Calfornia, Mr. Bennie Green and Mr. Elmer Head of West Monroe, Louisiana; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Mr. Bernard Scott, Chicago, Illinois; two uncles; many nieces, nephews and friends.
