Memorial: Brother Hayward Glover, Sr.

Brother Hayward Glover was born to the union of the late John Glover and Rose Elmore Glover, September 21, 1897.

He accepted Christ as his Saviour in 1937 and was baptized at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church under the pasturage of Rev. I.J. Johnson. He remained there until death.

Brother Glover departed this life September 11, 1985 at 9:45 at Ridgecrest Nursing Home of West Monroe, Louisiana. The deceased was married to the late Rosia (Ree) Bowers Glover and later he married Bonnie Sue Jordan Glover.

He leaves to mourn his loss; a wife, Mrs. Bonnie Sue Jordan Glover, West Monroe, Louisiana; three daughters; Mrs. Mary Lou Cyrus, West Monroe, Louisiana, Mrs. Allie Mae Roberson, Calhoun, Louisiana, Mrs. Nellie Mae Moore, Monroe, Louisiana; nine sons: Mr. James Glover and Mr. Joseph Glover both of Dallas, Texas, Mr. Andrew Glover of Calhoun, Louisiana, Mr. John Edward Glover, Mr. Cleve Glover and Mr. J.L. Walker all of Monroe, Louisiana; Mr. Robert Wayne "Bone" and Mr. Larry D. Glover both of West Monroe, Louisiana, Hayward Cyrus of Monroe, Louisiana and Ms. Sallie Jordan of West Monroe, Louisiana; three sisters: Mrs. Francis Tillman of Dumas, Arkansas, Mrs. Josie Glover of Wilmont, Arkansas and Mrs. Fannie Speed of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; 49 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
