Memorial: Sister Sarah Butler

Mrs. Sarah Butler was born to the union of the late Willis and Mary Ranson Johnson, December 25, 1873, and lived in the Mineral Springs Community.

She joined Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in 1904 and attended as long as she was able.

She departed this life January 30, 1973 at 4:30 AM Lincoln Park Nursing Home, Monroe, Louisiana.

She leaves to mourn her passing: one daughter, Mrs. Piccola Square; one son, Adner Butler both of West Monroe, Louisiana; six sisters, Mrs. Fannie Speed, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Mrs. Rosia Rehener, Kilgore, Texas, Mrs. Dosia Glover, and Mrs. Francis Tillmas, Tilla, Arkansas, Mrs. Caroline Lee, Greenville, Mississippi, Mrs. Berta Glover, Portland, Arkansas, four brothers, Wade and Hayward Glover, Calhoun, Louisiana , Will Glover, Lake Village, Arkansas, Jimmie Glover, Tillman, Arkansas; twenty grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
