"When Earth's Last Picture Is Painted"
Brother Henry Allen Boyd Smith
Alpha June 14, 1926
Omega September 2, 1974
Service Saturday, September 7, 1974

We know Henry B. Smith as the son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Smith.

He was born June 14, 1926, and grew up in the Mt. Pleasant community.

He married Mrs. Helen Manning May 15, 1948 and were blessed with five children. He contributed much to education and the welfare of his communty.

He joined Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church at a youthful age and was a very active member. His leading work role in the church was ushering.

He departed this life September 2, 1974 about 10:15 AM.

He is survived by: a devoted wife, Mrs. Helen Smith, West Monroe, Louisiana; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Harris and Mrs. Gladys Minor, Monroe, Louisiana; three sons, Clarence Ray Smith, Baltimore Maryland, Steve C. Smith, West Monroe, Louisiana and Madison Nelson, Monroe, Louisiana; a lovely mother and father, Mrs. Luevonger and Mr. Johnnie Smith; one brother, Cpt. Murry Parker, Alexandria, Virginia; one sister, Mrs. Dora Antoine, Renton, Washington; six grandchildren; many aunts and uncles, relatives and friends.

When earth's last picture is painted
And the tubes are twisted and dried,
And when the oldest colors have faded,
And the youngest critic has died,
We shall rest-and faith, we shall have it.
Lie down for an aeon or two,
Till the Master of all good workmen
Shall set us to work anew.
