Memorial: Brother Fred Wilburn Cassey

"To be able to smile in the storm"
Brother Fred Wilburn Cassey
Alpha (unknown)
Omega  July 29, 1979

Service Thursday, August 2, 1979

Brother Fred Wilburn Cassey was called home on July 29, 1979.

He was born in Jackson Parish to the late Sarah and Fred Cassey.

Fred moved to the Mt. Pleasant Community at an early age. He united with the Mount Pleasant Church and served diligently on the Usher Board.

To his family we express our sincere sympathy, and in the words of John's Gospel, would say, "Let not your heart be troubled," for he is not dead, he is just away.

He leaves to mourn his passing: a devoted wife, Mrs. Mildred Dean Cassey, West Monroe, Louisiana; three daughters, Mrs. Majorie Strickland, West Monroe, Louisiana, Mrs. Barbara Taylor, Houston, Texas, Ms. Sherry Letitia Cassey, West Monroe, Louisiana; one son, Bernard Wilbur Cassey, Monroe, Louisiana; three grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
